The North Sydney Medical Centre has had some
significant growth in the past few months with the
introduction of three new doctors, Dr Vanessa Sui who is
currently undertaking a Royal Australian College of General
Practice mentor term, Dr Sarah Lockley who is working part
time when she is not working as a medical officer at the
HMAS Penguin and Dr Michael Johnson whose special interest
is a doctors education program called Broadcast GP. All the doctors bring a wealth of experience and help provide a better medical service to North Sydney.

There is an article on the Influenza vaccine and the surgery will be stocking up in the next few weeks. The vaccine is important for the elderly and those with compromised immune systems and are free to these patients. However, it’s a debilitating illness and would mean one to
two weeks off work for even the healthiest person, not something that any of us would like.

The North Sydney Medical Centre provides a Travel Vaccination Service and is a registered provider of the Yellow Fever Vaccine. Before you travel make sure you check with your doctor what vaccines are available and
what precautions you may need to take when travelling to foreign destinations.

The North Sydney Medical Centre has online booking system for the convenience of patients. Simply go to
North Sydney Medical Centre website and register to use the online booking system.
